Short answer
We are not going to hand you a ranked list on this page. We sell tradelines, so any ranking from us would be self-serving, and rankings on affiliate sites often follow commissions. Instead, here is a scorecard you can use to judge any company, including ours.
"Best" depends on what you need
If you are...
"Best" probably means...
A buyer with a closing or application date
A clear reporting date shown before you pay, and a written guarantee
Someone burned by another company
Transparency, plain answers and a person you can call
A loan officer, agent or credit professional
Predictable timing, communication you can pass to a client, and honest guidance on fit
A cardholder who wants to supply
Clear supplier requirements, payment terms and protections (see our supplier program)
Transparent practices vs. common ones
You will see these two patterns across the industry. Neither describes any single company.
Transparent practice
Common practice
Line details
Bank, limit, age and reporting date shown before payment
"Contact us for details," or details revealed after payment
Guarantee
Written, with terms you can read
Verbal assurance or marketing language
Guarantee scope
That the tradeline will post, subject to its terms
Implied or stated score gains
Urgency
Tied to a real order-by date
Countdown timers, "only 2 left"
Fit
Tells you when a tradeline will not help
Every visitor is a good fit
Contact
Named staff and a physical office
Form or chat only
Identity
Authorized user tradelines only
Mentions of CPNs or "new credit identity"
A 10-point scorecard
Give each company one point per "yes." Anything under 7 deserves more questions.
- Bank, limit and account age visible before payment?
- Reporting date visible before payment?
- Guarantee available in writing?
- Guarantee limited to how the line posts and performs, with no score or approval promises?
- Explains statement date vs. reporting date vs. bureau update?
- Says who may not benefit?
- Named people you can contact?
- A physical address and phone number?
- Clear pricing and extension pricing?
- No CPN or "new identity" language anywhere?
Why we do not publish a ranked list here
- We have a conflict of interest. We would put ourselves first, and you would be right not to trust that.
- "Best" shifts with your deadline. The right line depends on your file and your reporting dates.
- Inventory and terms change. A list written today may be wrong next month.
We can say how we would score ourselves. We show the bank, limit, account age and reporting date before payment. Our written guarantee covers how a line posts and performs, with conditions, and does not cover score changes or approvals. If a tradeline is not likely to help your file, we will say so before you buy. Check each of these against our current guarantee page and judge for yourself.
Before you choose anyone
- Decide whether a tradeline fits your file. Recent negative items often outweigh any added account. See Authorized User Tradelines: How They Work and Who They May Not Help.
- Ask the eight questions in How to Compare Tradeline Companies.
- Know your deadline. Count back from your closing or application date and leave time for reporting and bureau updates.
- Read the guarantee. All of it.
